Jesse Eisenberg Suit: Actor Apparently Sues Studio Over 'Camp Hell' DVD Release

If Jesse Eisenberg have been the star of 'Camp Hell,' he could have been the star of 'Camp Hell.' Based on a study from E! Online, the 'Zombieland' star is suing Lionsgate within the DVD discharge of 'Camp Hell,' a cheapie horror film in regards to a "demonic curse" spread throughout bible camping, "to warn his fans and also the public that, unlike [the film's advertising], Eisenberg isn't the star of and doesn't come in a prominent role in 'Camp Hell.'" Starring Andrew McCarthy, Dana Delany and Connor Paolo ('Revenge'), 'Hell' was launched on DVD in August with Eisenberg's face decorated over the packaging. Which may be fine, if he wasn't within the finished film for under 5 minutes. Based on Eisenberg's reported suit, the star -- an Oscar nominee for 'The Social Network' -- was compensated $3000, "substantially less" than his normal fee, and he's seeking $3 million in damages "for alleged misappropriation of right of publicity and unfair business practices." Based from the bushel of reviews on 'Camp Hell's' Amazon . com page, Eisenberg is appropriate about warning his fans: the majority of the negative reviews decry a made the decision insufficient Jesse. "The coverage is misleading," authored one irate viewer. "Jesse Eisenberg is barely within this film." There is not a classic adage about never purchasing a DVD due to its situation, but when there is, utilizing it here could be appropriate. [via E!
